Many new and expecting parents experience unexpected challenges, and it’s common to need extra support during this time.

At Clark Counseling Services, we provide compassionate, nonjudgmental counseling to help you navigate the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.

You don’t have to wait until things feel “bad enough” to reach out early support can help prevent symptoms from worsening and improve your overall well-being.

Our Approach

We offer a warm, affirming space where you can share your experiences openly. Our therapists draw on evidence-based methods such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to manage anxious or depressive thoughts

  • Mindfulness and grounding techniques to reduce stress and improve presence

  • Interpersonal therapy to strengthen relationships and support networks

  • Grief and trauma-informed care for loss and difficult birth experiences

We also provide resources and referrals for lactation support, parent groups, and other perinatal services when helpful.
